Share YOUr Inspiration

''I just want to share a story.  And I want to give credit where credit is due – to obviously the Lubavitcher Rebbe, that Yid that recorded the clip and the rabbi that sent it to me.
Just now, I was driving on Franklin Avenue in Brooklyn and I got a flat tire. Long story short,  a couple blocks away there was a flat fix guy.
Now I'm sitting in the car, I was anyway going to give him $20, including a $5 tip because it's very cold outside as they're working hard. But somehow this clip popped into my head because I never realized that Kiddush Hashem is actually a Mitzvah. It's not just a great idea and a good thing to do, but it's a Mitzvas Assei. I never realized that. I also never realized – never thought of – the numerical chronology of Mitzvah's either, just like that guy. But that clip was somehow in the back of my head, that these Mitzvahs 9 through 13, they're all Mitzvas that are not really difficult.
Some of them, like Kiddush Hashem, can be things that you do every single day anyway, regardless, and you don't even realize that there's this part of – that you can make this into a Mitzvah. So I do put on Tefillin now, realizing that Tefillin Shel Yad is separate and Tefillin Shel Rosh and Shema, so three right there.
Learning Torah.....maybe a conversation, I should put more stress on that. But this story from today is – so as I'm sitting in the car, my nice warm car, and they're working outside, then I decide I'm going to give him obviously twenty bucks. I'm thinking, ‘You know what, why don't I just put on my yarmulke? I’m anyway going to give him the twenty bucks, I'm going to give him a $5 tip regardless. But let me turn that into a Mitzvah. Let me turn that also into a Kiddush Hashem.’
So I did that! I took off my ski cap, I put on my Yarmulka, gave him the $20 and I told him the same thing I would have said anyway; stay warm and buy yourself a cup of coffee, and stay safe. But I did it wearing a big Yarmulka and I feel that had I not gotten that clip, I might have missed out on that.
